Creating Safer Healthcare through Medical Error ReductionCurrently available for on-site contracted presentations only. This 2-hour program was designed to educate the healthcare community about the prevalence of medical errors and prevention strategies. Everyone involved in the care of a patient has a duty to help reduce potential errors leading to liability, injury, and death. Topics that will be discussed include recognizing error-prone situations, an overview of FDA guidelines, facts about medication errors, reporting responsibilities, and how to improve patient outcomes.
