PICC 101: PICC Education / Midline Education

This class comprehensively reviews all of the aspects of practice related to PICC placement (Midline placement).  Content includes patient selection and indications for PICC placement (Midline placement); anatomy and physiology; PICC insertion (Midline insertion) techniques; PICC (Midline) site care and device maintenance; and PICC insertion (Midline insertion) related complications.  A post test will be given to assess learning.

Prerequisite: One year venous access experience.
